MACHYNLLETH MARKET
I am gradually developing this page and add more photos from time to time
I live near the small town of Machynlleth (Powys) in rural mid-Wales. Since receiving its Market Charter in 1291 this small town has had a thriving market. The market takes place every Wednesday no-matter what the weather although summer is the busiest time.
Like any other markets this one has also seen many changes especially since the beginning of the pandemic. But we like to think that we have something for everybody – well, almost:). These pictures were taken a while ago and so things may have changed.
If you do come and would like to savour some of my food, you will have to pre-order at the moment. This situation, however, is very fluid, and changes as the drier weather approaches. |
